There are always specific roles for some particular players in the team. However, sometimes, according to the team and match situations, adjustments are to be made in order to win. In order to go all the way in a tough league like the NBA, the players have to be flexible in the different roles, which they can be asked to perform at any stage of the season.
Golden State Warriors talisman Steph Curry has won four NBA championships in his glorious career along with Draymond Green and Klay Thompson. Curry feels it is imperative that they play the roles that they are not accustomed to if they are to go all the way in the NBA.
“Look at teams that have won. You realize that there is a certain way about how you show up on a nightly basis,” Curry said in a recent interview with the Athletic.
“Guys are going to be asked to do things that may not all the way vibe with how they see themselves,” he continued. “You’ve got your core that’s got to figure out how to stay at a certain level. All those things are about winning.”
Meanwhile, GSW has added Chris Paul to their roster and CP3 will add experience to the Dubs line-up for the upcoming season.
Curry averaged 29.7 in the 2022-23 season for Golden State Warriors. He also averaged 6.1 rebounds and 6.3 assists in the previous season of the league and thus he will look to continue the good show.
On the other hand, Golden State Warriors’ campaign in the 2022-23 season was put paid by Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference semifinals as LeBron James and Co. won 4-2 to advance in the league.
