Dragic, Adebayo Are Injury Doubts For Miami Heat in Game 2

    October 2, 2020

Injury worries is one of the Miami Heat’s problem ahead of the game 2 of their NBA final against Los Angeles Lakers on Friday.

Guard Goran Dragic and Center Bam Adebayo are in doubt ahead of the game 2 as the Heat announced on Thursday.

While Bam Adebayo has suffered a neck strain, Dragic injured his left foot, but fortunately for the Heats, Jimmy Butler can still feature despite having injury scare in Game 2.

Butler stated the team’s intent to win won’t be dampened with the injuries knowing the intentions of winning of Dragic.

“We know how much he wants to win, how much he wants to go to war and battle with us, Obviously we love him for that, and we want him out there with us. But whatever the doc tells him to do, that’s what he’s got to do.” Butler said.

He further added: We’re still expecting to win. We still know that we can, Like I said earlier, we want that guy out there with us. He’s a big part of what we’re trying to do, but until we can have him back, we got to go out there, and we got to fight even harder.”

The Los Angeles Lakers got into the NBA Finals after beating the Denver Nuggets 4-1 in the Western Conference playoffs finals.

Miami Heat, on the other hand, got past the Boston Celtics 3-2 in the Eastern Conference playoffs finals.

Meanwhile, Doc Rivers has agreed to become the new head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers.

Doc Rivers left his role at the Clippers after failing to lead the team to the NBA Western Conference Finals although his record of 356-208 with the franchise is respectable.

This is the fourth team that he will be coaching since he began his coaching career in 1999. He served as coach of the Orlando Magic, Boston Celtics, and Los Angeles Clippers. Rivers won the NBA Finals with the Celtics in 2008.
