LeBron James opens up on his favourite memories with the Los Angeles Lakers as he looks back at his 20 years in the NBA

LeBron James is one of the greatest to grace the games and over the course of his two decades in the NBA, he has had several memorable moments in the league. He has won the Championship with all three teams he has represented. Hence he has had great memories with the Los Angeles Lakers. Starting from winning the Championship in 2020 to pairing up with Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook, LeBron’s time at the Lakers has been full of memorable moments.

The 38-year-old is also nearing the all-time scoring record which is currently held by Hakeem Olajuwon. The way he is playing and leading the scoring for the Purple and Gold army, that record will be broken in the next few games and it will be a sensational achievement from one of the greatest ever of this generation. Even in his 20th season, LeBron is going strong and is still the same offensive beast. It is surprising how someone can be so fit and agile at the age of 38 and he is setting an example of fitness, determination and sheer willpower.

Over the 20 seasons, LeBron James has innumerable highlight plays that are still talked about with great admiration and awe as the NBA fans are still not sure how he does a few things on court. The Lakers talisman recently spoke his heart out in an interview with ESPN’s Dave McMenamin. He shared his thoughts on the all-time scoring record and his pursuit of it and also shared his favourite moments from his illustrious career in the NBA.

Speaking about his time with the Miami Heat, he acknowledged the infamous Dwyane Wade alley oop and also the Silencer celebration moment against the Golden State Warriors.

McMenamin then asked abouthis memorable moments with the Lakers and he immediately came up with the game-winner that he scored against city rivals Los Angeles Clippers. He also mentioned his performance against the Denver Nuggets at the 202o Western Conference finals.

“Hitting the game winner against the Clippers, that was big time. Also, hitting those big time shots against Denver in the Western Conference Finals. To be able to seal that series, in that fourth quarter. That was a very memorable moment for myself,” LeBron James shared.

While LeBron James have made some great memories with the current franchise and is looking to make new ones aswell in the current season. He is leading the team alongwith Russell Westbrook in Anthony Davis’ injury absence from the team. LeBron is averaging 29.1 points per game, 8.2 rebounds per game and 6.7 assists per game this season. In the last 13 games he has been in superlative form especially due to Davis’ absence. However the Lakers are still 12th in the Western Conference with an underwhelming record of 19-22 and it will be upon LeBron James and company to help the Lakers get back to postseason this time.
