Montrezl Harrell returns to NBA campus, as 76ers Loses Another Player To Injury

    August 11, 2020

Los Angeles Clippers’ Montrezl Harrell has returned to the NBA Campus on Monday after he left the NBA Bubble on the 17th of July on the grounds of personal issues.

The forward has averaged 18.6 points per game this season with the clipper just two seeding games to go before playoffs.

He will now go into quarantine, which could last for ten days according to the rules by the NBA for those who leave the bubble, especially for those who didn’t get tested on a daily basis while they were away, although the least Harrell can spend in quarantine is four days.

Los Angeles Clippers will play against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday and Oklahoma City Thunder on Friday.

Meanwhile, Milwaukee Bucks Giannis will go under an oral surgery, one that made him miss Monday night’s game against Toronto Raptors.

According to the NBA, the Greek is averaging 29.8 points, 13.7 rebounds, and 5.7 assists this season, and the reigning MVP has been nominated for another MVP award for the second season running.

He will be contending with Los Angeles Lakers LeBron James and Houston Rocket’s James Harden in that category and also in the NBA Defensive Player of the Year Category alongside Rudy Gobert of Utah Jazz and Anthony Davis of Los Angeles Lakers.

Meanwhile, Philadelphia 76ers have been hit by another injury problem after Joel Embiid left Sunday’s fixture against Portland Timbers with an ankle injury in the first quarter.

Previously, Ben Simmons was said he would need knee surgery, and 76ers coach Brett Brown didn’t disclose if Embiid would miss time or not.

“I’m going to learn more physically, I don’t know enough to comment on it,” Brown said according to the NBA.
