Sacramento Kings head coach Mike Brown rages at the NBA referees, brings a laptop to the press conference to point out issues

Sacramento Kings head coach Mike Brown exploded on the NBA officials during his team’s overtime defeat against the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday. Brown was upset with the officiating on display at the 9:27 mark of the fourth quarter.

He stormed the court and began to shout at the referee Intae Hwang. However, his actions had massive repercussions as Brown was immediately ejected as he was held back by his players. Malik Monk controlled the situation involving Mike Brown as he wrapped his arms around his coach and guided him off the floor.

The post-match press conference was even more hilarious as Brown brought a laptop with him to point out his issues with the officials. He pointed out the multiple questionable calls and free-throw disparity, which has been a massive problem for multiple coaches around the NBA this season. Recently, the Toronto Raptors coach Darko Rajkovic also called out the officials for being biased with their calls and was duly fined by the league for his demeanour.

“The referees are human, and they’re going to make mistakes, but you just hope that there’s some sort of consistency and there’s some sort of communication between the refs,” Brown said at the post-match press conference after his team’s overtime loss against Milwaukee Bucks. “The refs tonight, they were great, they communicated with me all night. But in terms of consistency, you guys saw it right here. In my opinion, the consistency wasn’t here tonight.”

Bucks coach Adrian Griffin shared how Brown’s ejection fueled the Kings and they were putting that extra yard with their every move. He felt that it allowed them to get back in the game but his team was more resilient and deserved to win the encounter.

Bucks star Damian Lillard dropped a game-winning three-pointer in overtime to help his team win the clash 143-142.

Brown is likely to face a fine by the NBA for his actions on the court with the officials. Raptors coach Rajkovic also faced similar consequences after raising his voice against the disparity in officiating in NBA games this season.

The Kings are sixth in the Western Conference with a decent record of 23-16. They have now suffered back-to-back defeats against the Philadelphia 76ers and the Milwaukee Bucks. Meanwhile, the Bucks are second in the Eastern Conference with a brilliant 28-12 record.
