That dude is a superhuman – Max Christie after LeBron James confirms his participation for next season

    July 15, 2023

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has confirmed that he will be returning to take part in his 21st NBA season while speaking at the 2023 ESPY Awards. The veteran was awarded for best record-breaking performance after he went past Kareen Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record.

Lakers second-year shooting guard Max Christie showered praise on LeBron James, calling him the superhuman. James, 38, is still fit as a fiddle and he has shown that he has some more fuel left in his tank.

At the NBA 2K24 Summer League practice, Christie said: “Honestly I’m not surprised. I thought he was going to play another year. I mean, that dude is a superhuman so I’m excited to play with him again for another year and hopefully as many years as he possibly can.”

On the other hand, LA Clippers star Paul George has tipped LeBron James’ unusual three-pointer as an unstoppable shot in the game. George said he has never seen James miss that shot. James is known to flummox the defenders with his guile and he is highly effective with that shot.

He said on Podcast P with Paul George, “That s**t? Aye it’s so effective, though like. What’s the percentage on it? Like I’ve never seen him miss it. You know he is about to shoot. He’s staring at that motherf**ker… He knows what time it is. I’ve never seen him miss it.”

At the ESPY Awards, James revealed he isn’t going anywhere as of now and will continue playing at the top level.

“I don’t care how many more points I score or what I can or cannot do on the floor. The real question for me is, can I play without cheating this game? The day I can’t give the game everything on the floor is the day I’ll be done. Lucky for you guys, that day is not today.”

Meanwhile, LeBron James averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists in 55 games in 2022-23. He was selected to play in his nineteenth All-Star games.
