The Boston Celtics need players to become title contenders ahead of the start of the next season. Jayson Tatum who is all set to lead the franchise this season and even in the following years would want like-minded people to work smoothly.
Currently, with the USA basketball set, Taum is at the Tokyo Olympics and he is enjoying life out there with Washington Wizards; forward Bradly Beal. The dup were seen chilling with each other and some people have already made the deal successfully while it is far from happening this summer.
The Boston Celtics have allowed a craftsman like Kemba Walker to move away this season as they brought in Al Hordofrd back along with the young Moses Brown.
Therefore they need players who can fill up the spot in the team if they want to compete with the Brooklyn Nets, Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks, Golden State Warriors, etc, they would need some more firepower than just having a stacked team. But a stacked team can help you win NBA Championships which the Bucks have proven last season.
While Celtics are looking for players suitable to their profile, Bradley Beal also wants a team that will cater to his interest. If Beal leaves Washington for the upcoming season he will be doing justice to his talent. Beal has been superb for the last few seasons but spending all this time at Washington won’t help him win anything. As the franchise has not aimed high in the last few years.
Therefore the trade package that Beal will ask for is still unclear but there is a strong possibility that it may be reasonable or at least the one that interests the Celtics front office. He averaged a ridiculous 31.3 points per game while making the All-Star Game and the All-NBA third team and definitely deserves a better team than the lowly Washington Wizards.

However, Beal joining any of the Celtics or Warriors will be an excellent move for the league as well. Beal teaming up with two excellent shooters in the league in either team will be a very exciting prospect and will make either of the teams an instant favourite to bring home NBA Championship.
If he joins the Celtics, he would limit himself to the role of the facilitator, driving the offensive charge of the team and creating moves for his exceptionally talented teammates, Tatum and Brown.
