Steph Curry believes Golden State Warriors played better than Miami Heat despite their 116-109 loss on Tuesday night at FTX Arena. The match was neck to neck after the first half as Miami Heat only had a one-point lead.
However, the Dubs came roaring back into the contest as they won the third quarter by 38-28. But once again Miami Heat came back strongly as they won the fourth and final quarter by a margin of 15 points, thereby winning by a gap of seven points.
Steph Curry said via 95.7 the Game, ”We are not a moral victory team by any stretch but you can clearly say we played better tonight. We just gotta keep building on that.”
On the other hand, Draymond Green feels the team energy was good but they got to start winning matches. GSW currently has a 3-5 record and a 0-4 away record in the ongoing season.
“I thought our energy was better at times,” Golden State’s Draymond Green said as quoted by AP. “But we’ve still got to put it together and win games.”
Meanwhile, Golden State Warriors have struggled in their defense and they will need to pull up their socks.
On the other hand, Steph Curry was once again at his absolute best as he scored a fine triple-double. He scored 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 13 assists, shooting 50% from the field.
Furthermore, he extended his NBA-record streak of regular-season games with a 3-pointer to 197. Curry scored four three-pointers out of the 12 he attempted.
Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson scored 21 and 19 points respectively but their efforts went in vain as Max Strus and Jimmy Butler scored 24 and 23 points for the Heat.
Golden State Warriors will next take on Orlando Magic on Thursday night.
