Since Massimiliano Allegri’s return to Juventus, Aaron Ramsey has been relegated to the bench.
The player currently has more minutes of action with the Wales shirt in this month’s World Cup qualifiers than he has played all season at Juve.
In fact, under Allegri, Ramsey only made one start for the first team in Serie A at the season’s opening game. And later, he appeared as substituted in the Champions League against Zenit.
This is a radical change from what the player was used to since, under the orders of Maurizio Sarri and Andrea Pirlo, he participated in more than half of the club’s games.
Ramsey has said that he maintains his commitment to the club and that he would like to have more opportunities.
During a press conference, the 30-year-old said: “Every time I have the opportunity I want to be out on the pitch helping contribute to my team winning that game” I know exactly how I feel about representing my country or playing for my club and I want to do it as often and as many times as I can. ”
But it seems that Allegri does not have Ramsey in his plans, and they will let the player go for nothing at the beginning of the year. Several Premier League clubs are closely monitoring the situation as they would like to take over the services of the Welshmen.
One of his possible destinations is his former club, Arsenal. The Gunners continue to reinvent themselves under Mikel Arteta, and it is speculated that the club will make several moves in the winter market.
For his old teammate Theo Walcott it would be great if Ramsey returned to the Gunners. “It would be lovely, it would be fantastic for him to come back to the Premier League,”
“I feel like he would want to, and part of me thinks he would love to come back to Arsenal; something about that would tick a box.”
Whatever Ramsey’s fate is, it seems that he will be far from Turin.
