Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is again linked with several clubs across Europe which also include French giants Paris Saint Germain. It is nothing new as whenever there is a transfer window, Pogba is speculated to move out of Old Trafford. This time a move to PSG is heavily speculated.
Speaking on the speculations PSG’s French defender Presnel Kimpembe admits that any club in the world would the services of Paul Pogba. The French midfielder is entering the final year of his current contract and hence all the speculations have gathered motion.
When Kimpembe was asked whether Pogba will join him at PSG, he said, “I didn’t discuss it with him. He’s a big boy, he doesn’t need anyone to make up his mind. Any club would be happy to welcome him. It only depends on him, his agent and his future club.”
“We know his talent as a natural leader. When we have to speak, he is not going to say govern, he does so naturally.
“He always speaks at the right times,” Kimpembe added regarding his compatriot.
At the moment, Pogba is focused on the present as he plays a major role in Didier Deschamps’ French side at the Euros. The Manchester United midfielder will partner the likes of N’Golo Kante and Corentin Tolisso in midfield and will look to bring home another major silverware.
Les Blues are a stronger team in this Euros from the recent past as Real Madrid talisman Kerim Benzema has joined the team after a long time. The experienced striker has already formed a great camaraderie with Paris Saint Germain sensation Kylian Mbappe. They also have players like Antoine Greizmann and Olivier Giroud to provide support in attack.
While France is filled with talented players all around the pitch, Deschamps will rely on the seniors like Lloris, Pogba, Kante, Varane and others to step up and guide the youngsters. Pogba’s performance in the midfield will also decide the destiny for Les Blues. He will be the fulcrum of this side and with his vision and long passing the 28-year-old will be looking to split defence at the Euros.
The Frenchman is also a great ball progressor and has superb dribbling skills which allow him to skip past defenders with relative ease. If he delivers a stellar performance at the Euros then it mostly confirms France’s success at the tournament. Le Blues are in Group F which is the ‘Group of Death’ with teams like Portugal, Germany and Hungary along with them.
