The remaining Serie A teams in the Europa League, Inter Milan and AS Roma have been drawn against Spanish sides, Getafe and Sevilla.
The Giallorossi will face five times winners, Sevilla while Inter Milan that was demoted from the UEFA Champions League to the second-tier European club competition will square up against surprise package, Getafe.
Sevilla progressed to the last 16 courtesy of an away goal against Cluj in the round of 32. The La Liga team went through with a 1-1 on aggregate after playing 0-0 at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
The first leg of the clash is scheduled for Spain before AS Roma returns home for the second leg, while the Nerazzurri will be welcoming Getafe to the Giuseppe Meazza for their first leg before hoping to progress in the second leg in Spain.
Getafe surprised last season’s UEFA Champions League semi-finalist, Ajax Amsterdam by beating them 3-2 aggregate. They had done their own business in the first leg of the clash in Spain by beating the Dutch champions 2-0 then lost 2-1 at the Amsterdam Arena on Thursday.
They will have to test their mettle against Inter which made a short walk of Bulgarian side, Ludogorets, winning 4-1 on aggregate.
The first leg is scheduled for March 12, while the return leg will hold a week later.
Other parts of the draw see Istanbul Basaksehir playing against FC Copenhagen, while Greek champions, Olympiacos which stunned Arsenal to progress to the stage will be facing another English opponent, Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The remaining Scottish side, Glasgow Rangers will hope to knockout in form German side, Bayer Leverkusen, while Wolfsburg and Shakhtar Donetsk are expected to be the game of the rounds.
RB Salzburg will play the winner of the Eintracht Frankfurt-FC Basel clash while Manchester United will travel to Austria to face LASK Linz before returning to Old Trafford for the second leg of their encounter.
