Everton interested in Davide the son of Carlo Ancelotti to lead the club

    February 3, 2023

Everton are in freefall. After sacking Frank Lampard, the Toffees have plummeted to the bottom of the table and now face a relegation battle if they cannot turn their fortunes around soon.

The team has looked out of sorts ever since the start of the season, with their dismal performance leaving fans stunned and desperate for new leadership. The search is on for a coach that can save Everton from dropping into an unthinkable nightmare – with time running out before it’s too late.

The club’s hierarchy is under immense pressure to find someone who can restore pride at Goodison Park and provide stability both on and off the pitch.

One of the candidates Everton is interested in is Davide Ancelotti, son of the great legend Carlo Ancelotti.

Davide worked with his father at Real Madrid and is training to continue the Ancelotti legacy as one of the most successful names in team coaching.

Carlo Ancelotti has referred to the possibility that his son directed the Toffees and he has said that he will not go anywhere because he is not ready yet.

“Davide wants to be a coach. Someday he will be,” Carlo Ancelotti said.

“He is very happy here and me with him. The day I stop training or when he doesn’t decide he can leave.

“He has the ability to do it. At the moment we are very good here. Our work is not finished yet.”

Davide Ancelotti graduated in sports science after calling time on his playing career and earned a UEFA A license in his mid-twenties. He was just 27 years old when he joined Bayern’s staff.

Davide has already had the opportunity to work at Everton as an assistant and says it is one of the best clubs he has ever been to.

“I had the opportunity to work for big clubs, and I think Everton has everything to be at the same level because these facilities are amazing, one of the best facilities in Europe,” he told EvertonTV.

“What impressed me from the first day is the sense of belonging here, everyone loves this club and this feeling everyone has here is something you can feel from the first time and I was impressed by the fans, people that work here, it’s something different.

“It gives you that feeling, I’m the first Everton supporter now, being with [former Everton coach Duncan Ferguson] is something you can feel, it’s Everton, on the bench I’m really excited when we score.”
