Fulham, this weekend, resume their chase for automatic promotion when they play host to Hull City AFC on the 2nd of November 2019. The Cottagers are seeking their 7th win of the season as they aim to get back on track after surprisingly drawing with Middlesbrough FC last weekend.
The West Londoners are currently placed 7th on 23 points four behind league leaders West Bromwich Albion FC. A win this weekend would catapult them to within a point of West Brom, as the Cottagers attempt to ramp up the pressure on their promotion-chasing rivals. Fulham have lacked consistency over the past few weeks, and Manager Scott Parker will be aiming to rectify that as they go into this weekend’s game.
The Cottagers have won one game in their last 4 fixtures and will be desperate to go on a winning run as they seek to grab one of the two automatic promotion places.
Scott Parker will be without first choice goalkeeper Marek Rodak who got sent off in last Saturday’s game against Middlesbrough.
League top goalscorer Aleksandar Mitrovic should be available to lead the line for the home side. The Serb has been exceptional so far for Fulham this season. He was especially devastating form last week Wednesday, scoring a hattrick for Fulham as they edged visitors Luton Town FC 3-2.
The Craven Cottage faithful will be hoping for a repeat performance from the former Newcastle United FC forward when his side takes to the field this Saturday at 4 PM. Captain Tom Cairney, Ivan Caveleiro, and Anthony Knockaert should make up the remaining regulars in Fulham’s starting eleven as they seek their 5th home win of the league campaign.
This weekend’s opponents Hull City are no pushovers themselves and also have aspirations of getting into the playoff places. The Tigers are currently on a two-match winning streak and would love to make it a hattrick of back to back victories when they face Fulham this weekend. Grant McCann’s men have a fair away record this season and will be looking to put the cat amongst the pigeons as they seek their third away win of the campaign.
We can’t wait to see how Fulham gets on when matchday 15 fixtures are played across different venues this weekend.
Fulham are fancied at 1.62 to defeat Hull City, while Hull are priced at 5.19 to win against Fulham.
