Brazil continued their Impressive run after the demolition of African side Tunisia on Tuesday night.
Goals from Richarlison, Pedro, Neymar, and a brace from Barcelona star Raphinha ensured the Selecao maintained their 100 percent winning record.
Head coach Tite made sure his side was well prepared for the showpiece in Qatar as they faced Tunisia, making some changes to the side that defeated Ghana on Friday.
The Brazilians broke the deadlock in the 11th minute when Casemiro’s pass found Raphinha, who guided the ball with a brilliant header past the rushing Aymen Dahmen.
However, it didn’t take long for the Tunisians to draw level in the 18th minute when they were awarded a freekick whipped in by Ben Slimane for Montassar Talbi to nod home.
Brazil had to quickly make amends in less than two minutes as they restored their lead through Richarlison following a defense-splitting pass by the ever-dangerous Raphinha.
It was upwards and onwards as Neymar got on the score sheet making it 3-1 excellent, splitting home from 12 yards following Aissa Laidouni foul on Casemiro.
The PSG man strike was his 75th goal for his country, three shies of the legendary Pele still holding the most goals for Brazil.
Matters got worse for Tunisia as Dylan Bronn was given his marching orders in the 43rd minute after a dangerous tackle on Neymar.
Antony and Vini Jr. also came close to adding to the tally; instead, Pedro tucked in the fifth to complete a 5-1 rout.
Brazil has so far shown signs of not slowing down as they look in top shape for the World Cup. They are definitely a team to watch out for, and there are possibilities of them going all the way.
