French Ligue 1 side Lille has received multiple bids for midfielder Boubakary Soumare from Premier League sides, Manchester United and Tottenham, respectively.
However, both sides must swing to action as the club has already confirmed that they have revived offers from other suitors.
The versatile 20-year old midfielder has held down a regular spot in the first team at the club [Lille] this season, making appearances in every of the domestic and Champions League matches, which they eventually crashed out in the group stages.
Soumare, who was an academy graduate at Paris St. Germain, moved to Lille in 2017 in search of first-team football and more opportunities to sharpen and improve his skills, has now flourished since he made a move.
A news outlet in France reported that Premier League sides Manchester United and Tottenham are interested in the young and energetic midfielder. But there are tons of other suitors vying for his signature.
It is also reported that Lille has previously received six bids for Soumare ahead of the winter transfer window, but they failed to reveal the clubs who have shown interest.
Lille had previously turned down a bid of 34m pounds in the summer from Premier League side Wolverhampton. And it will take a fee higher than that to convince the French side to sell in January.
Even if any deal is being agreed to this January, Lille is thought to insert a clause that will see Soumare remain for the remainder of the season. It remains to be seen if clubs will agree to that as most clubs are looking to fill urgent space in their squad.
Lille currently sits fourth on the log and battling for a Champions League spot as they will need a top-three finish to achieve that feat.
