Manchester United Chase £50-Rated Jude Bellingham

    April 17, 2020

English Premier League side Man Utd are reported to be leading the race to sign Birmingham city wonderkid Jude Bellingham.

The teenager, 16, is rated £50m, and he is on the radar of a lot of elite clubs in the top flight of English football.

German Bundesliga side, Borussia Dortmund are also said to be in the race while the player has held talks with Chelsea as well, among others.

Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskajer is interested in a deal that will see the Red Devils pay £35m initially and then the fee could rise up to £50m with add ons

The English forward made his debut for the club’s first side this season, and he could prefer a move to Manchester United after he was shown around the Red Devils training complex.

Furthermore, the player, along with his parents, held meetings with Sir Alex Ferguson and Ole Gunnar Solskajer as well as transfer agent Matt Judge.

“We felt that he was blown away with what he was shown and what was said to him by all. We believe he was impressed with what we can offer. We have a duty of care to young players and want to develop them.” an Old Trafford source was quoted by The Sun.

Meanwhile, Birmingham hoping to get Jude Bellingham back on loan after the deal is done in the summer, but United want the player to stay at the Old Trafford.

The loan back option is said to be favorable to Birmingham due to their current economic state brought about by the Coronavirus pandemic.

Borussia Dortmund, on the other hand, are hoping to tempt the player with a 60,000 pounds a week deal for the player who is just currently earning 145 pounds weekly at Birmingham.
