Championship side Norwich City could lose defender Max Aarons in the summer if reports in the media are anything to go by.
The youngster could move to Manchester United in the summer as the reports indicate that the Red Devils have opened talks with the Canaries over a move.
To make the move possible, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could let Diogo Dalot exit Old Trafford permanently at the end of the season. Dalot is currently on loan at Seria A leader AC Milan.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka is United’s first-choice right-back but the Norwegian manager wants competition for the English defender and Max Aarons has been penciled as a possible back-up.
Manchester United are also interested in Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier of Atletico Madrid.
Max Aarons played with Norwich City as they got relegated from the Premier League last season and he attracted interest with his 36 appearances in the Premier League last season.
Apart from Man Utd, and Tottenham Hotspur, interests came in from the Spanish La Liga sides and the German Bundesliga.
He has featured in 28 games for the Canaries in the Championship this season, playing every single minute in the Championship.
His partnership with Emi Buendia has been instrumental this season as Norwich City currently sits in the automatic promotion places on the championship table.
The Canaries have 55 points from the 28 matches played and two points away from top placed Brentford.
After topping the log for a long period, Daniel Farke’s side has hit a rough patch lately, failing to win in their last four games in all competitions.
A 1-0 loss to Barnsley was followed by two 0-0 draws against Millwall and Middlesborough and then a 2-0 loss to Swansea at the weekend.
Norwich City will host Stoke City next weekend in the Championship.
