Rumors continue to escalate around Norwich City’s very own Emi Buendia who continues to receive plenty of interest from various Premier League clubs for the upcoming transfer window.
The 24-year-old is supposedly receiving added interest from the likes of Arsenal, according to Goal.
There has yet to be an official offer from Buendia, but reports indicate he’s on top of Arsenal’s list as they hope to add another creative player to the roster.
“Of course if one of the best clubs in the world wants Emi as a starter and makes an unbelievable offer then it could be a realistic solution for all parties,” Norwich’s Daniel Farke said.
In 39 appearances in the Championship this past season, Buendia scored 15 goals and recorded 17 assists.
Norwich remains adamant on the £40m fee to part with the young star from Argentina.
“If there is a club who want to put some crazy offers out then maybe you use this to help the club in the future, but as a head coach my first thought is to work further on with our key players,” Farke added.
Buendia joined the side at Carrow Road back in 2018, currently earning £8,000-per-week .
In 121 total appearances for the side, he has 42 assists and 24 goals, helping the Canaries win two Championship titles in three years.
Keeping Buendia, or somehow replacing that sort of production, would be paramount for Norwich City to remain in the Premier League beyond the upcoming 2021-2022 season.
