Fulham manager, Scott Parker is urging his lads to learn the lessons of their previous meeting with Hull City.
He is speaking ahead of the visit to KCOM Stadium on Saturday in the English Championship.
It could be recalled that the Tigers shocked Fulham at Craven Cottage in the reverse fixture with a perfect game plan to beat the host 3-0.
Speaking on the last meeting between the club, Parker blamed his team for not dealing with transitions in the game, which made them concede goals against the Tigers via counter-attacks.
While noting that his next opponent is the best team in the division in terms of counter-attacks, Parker said they sit behind and wait for mistakes from their opponents before going ahead to punish them.
Parker, who admitted that the likes of Jarrod Bowen, and Kamil Grosicki, could be a thorn in their flesh said they have talented and creative players, especially up front who can cause significant damage, which was what they did to his team in their last meeting.
Speaking further, the coach rued his team’s chances after they controlled the game. That made him wonder how Fulham ended on the losing side.
Parker, who also noted that his lad didn’t deal with Hull City’s problem well in their last encounter, said they would face that same problem at the weekend.
Admitting that Hull is a good side with good quality, he urged his team to be wary of them having been fully aware of the threat they pose.
Bowen had registered his name on the scoring sheet each time he faces the Cottagers with three goals to his name.
While stating that special attention needed to be paid to the in-form winger, Parker noted that the opponent played in a way that suits him.
On their return to winning ways courtesy of the 2-1 win over Aston Villa in the FA Cup, Fulham has survived congested festive schedule and now had a whole week to prepare for the trip Hull City.
Fulham are priced at 2.58 to win Hull City, while Hull are set at 2.62.
