Real Madrid preparing £50m bid for Arsenal’s Kieran Tierney

    March 28, 2022

Arsenal’s full-back Kieran Tierney has become a subject of interest from La Liga side Real Madrid. The Scottish international has been in impressive form for the gunners this season.

His form has caught the eyes of La Liga Liga giants Real Madrid who are ready to splash around £50 million to bring him to the Bernabeu in the summer.

Tierney underlined his impressive form with a goal as Scotland held Poland to a 1-1 draw during the international break.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time that Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancellotti will be after the services of the defender.

In 2019, the Italian manager was ready to bring Scot to Napoli from Celtic, but the defender only moved to the arsenal for a fee of £25m bid.

Real Madrid scouts were observing England forward Bukayo Saka before Tierney stole the attention too, as scouts identify the 24-year-old Scotsman as a player, who can as a player with the potential to excel at the club.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid rivals Barcelona are reported to be on the heels of interest for the defender. Arsenal has had a fantastic season with a charge for the UEFA Champions League season, and Kieran Tierney has been a huge part of it

He has played 22 games for the gunners in the premier league with three assists and one goal to his name.

Arsenal is fourth on the Premier League table with 54 points from 28 matches played, although the gunners still have two games in hand.

They lead Tottenham with three points and are five points away from Chelsea in the third position.

Arsenal’s last game before the international games was a 1-0 win against Aston Villa. Mikel Arteta’s side will be at Selhurst Park after the international break to continue their run for a return to the UEFA Champions League.
