Real Madrid to pay half of Gareth Bale’s wages to in order to help him leave

    September 11, 2020

Spanish La Liga Champions Real Madrid are ready to pay half of Gareth Bale’s wages to help him secure a move out of the Santiago Bernabeau.

This could help the Welsh Forward move back to the English Premier League, where there has been some reported interests coming from the Elite clubs in the league.

Last year, a move to Jiangsu Suning in the Chinese Super League was blocked by Real Madrid in a deal that would have seen the player earn £1 million-a-week wages.

The Welsh forward admitted that he would fancy a move back to England, where he was signed from Tottenham in a world-record £85million deal.

The player still has two years on his contract, but the situation at the club has seen him not travelling with the team to Manchester City for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League round of 16.

Last season, Bale featured 12 times in the La Liga and was an unused sub for the final set of games of the season while he didn’t even make the matchday squad on the final day of the season.

Real Madrid won the La Liga last season, beating Barcelona to the title, but they failed to get to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League after losing to Manchester City 4-2 on aggregate, losing both legs 2-1.

Meanwhile, James Rodriguez moved to English Premier League side Everton this week to reunite with former boss Carlo Ancelotti whom he played under at the Bernabeu and Bayern Munich in Germany.

James Rodriguez was surplus to requirements at the Bernabeu throughout last season and even went out on loan, a step that Bale and his agent as ruled out totally.
