New signing Ángel Di Maria wasted no time in scoring his first Juventus goal as the Bianconeri beat Serie D side Pinerolo 9-0 in a pre-season friendly.
Moise Kean also put his name on the score sheet with a hat-trick, while Denis Zakaria and Argentine midfielder Matías Soulé scored a brace each, while Adrien Rabiot added one.
Max Allegri used the opportunity to use the majority of his squad as the trio of Federico Chiesa, Aaron Ramsey, and Arthur were missing due to injuries.
This was a preparation for Juve, that will head off for their USA summer tour from July 21 until July 30. They will face Deportivo Guadalajara on July 22 in Las Vegas, and then Barcelona is likely to have Robert Lewandowski in its line-up on July 26 in Dallas.
They will wrap up the tour with another clash against Real Madrid four days later in Los Angeles.
Also, part of their schedule is a traditional pre-season clash with their second string on August 4. This will be the next time the side plays in Italy this season.
They will then face Atletico Madrid in Tel Aviv, Israel, three days later, eight days before the Serie A season kicks off, when they will go to Sassuolo.
Meanwhile, the Bianconerri could have Arthur and Matthijs de Ligt off their book before the pre-season begins.
This is following the latest information that Arsenal have restarted talks with Juventus for Arthur. This could explain why the Brazilian isn’t expected to join the US pre-season tour.
The Gunners were unable to sign the 25-year-old in January after a move ultimately failed to materialise.
Since he has been placed on transfer by Bianconeri again, this summer could be the right time to work out a deal.
TMW reported that both parties are hoping to agree on a deal soon.
Also, Bayern Munich appears to be edging closer to completing a deal for defender de Ligt.
According to reports in Italy, they have agreed on personal terms, and the Netherlands international seems certain to leave Juventus this summer.
