Norwich City will hope to get their very first win of the 2019/2020 English Premier League season when they visit the Amex Stadium this weekend to face Brighton and Hove Albion.
The Canaries recorded their first away point of the season at the Vitality Stadium just after the international break with a 0-0 draw against Bournemouth.
However, last weekend’s visit of Manchester United to the Carrow Road reminded Daniel Farke’s side of the work that needs to be done if they are to avoid a drop back to the Championship.
Norwich City was beaten 3-1 at home by a resurgent Manchester United side who also beat Chelsea in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.
The Canaries have gone Five games without a win since the 3-2 victory against EPL Champions, Manchester City and center to their abysmal record of just 2 wins and a draw from their ten EPL games so far is the long record of injured players in recent weeks.
Also, influential frontman, Teemu Pukki, has so far failed to find the net in five-game, and the team has only scored twice in that period, one against Aston Villa in the 5-1 drubbing at Carrow Road and Onel Hernandez strike against United last weekend.
Overall, the Canaries away record has been dreadful with just one goal scored and ten conceded on away grounds.
Meanwhile, Brighton themselves have been inconsistent so far as they sit in the 14th position on the Log, but they have five points more than the seven recorded by Norwich City so far.
Furthermore, victories against Everton and Tottenham at the Amex stadium recently put the Seagulls on point to secure a third consecutive home win, the first since 2018.
However, should Norwich City get a win, it will potentially move them out of the relegation zone, but if recent statistics by Daniel Farke’s team are anything to go by, then the team will need to do more than enough to get a win.
Norwich City are backed at 4.62 to win Brighton, while Brighton is available at 1.74
