Norwich City midfielder Tom Trybull says the Canaries team must believe the club aims to yet into the next stage of the FA Cup and avoid a drop into the championship.
The Daniel Farke led team is preparing for the resumption of the English Premier League, which has been suspended since March due to the outbreak of the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic.
The Canaries’ first game once the break is over is a home game against Southampton at the Carrow Road next week Friday.
The team has been preparing with intra-team friendlies inside the Carrow Road stadium without fans as the players gear up for the resumption of the English Premier League without fans.
However, the German player not sure how the absence of fans will affect the players, but the player admits there is excitement with the return of the league, and the team is positive with a good spirit.
“It’s not going to be easy, but I’m positive, we have a good spirit in the team, and we’ve shown already during the season what we’re capable of and that we can always surprise.
“But we have to take the situation, no one really knows what it’s like to play and official game behind-closed-doors. It’s the same situation for everyone.” Trybull said on Canaries.co.uk.
Norwich City are rock-bottom on the log with just 21 points from 29 games played with a total of 25 goals scored and 52 goals conceded.
The Premier League has decided that the first set of matches to be played when the season resumes will have a minute silence in honour of victims of the coronavirus pandemic who died while tests will continue to be carried out twice every week.
